With long term support from the Aga Khan Foundation, ARAVALI has worked
closely with over 30 voluntary organisations helping them through a
process of training, exposure and organisational development understand
the context of livelihoods based on natural resources. ARAVALI has also
helped address policy issues related to natural resources especially
watershed management, rainfed agriculture and livestock management. An
important area of work has been information sharing and documentation of
best practices.
ARAVALI aims to work towards increasing the number of voluntary agencies
having an ability to work on issues related to the management of natural
resources.
